Known as the “Missile Man” and the “People’s President of India,” Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s life, vision, and ideals are the inspiration and foundation behind the “Wings of Fire Olympiad.”

Dr. Kalam was not only a renowned scientist but also an enthusiastic thinker who constantly motivated the youth to dream big, innovate, pursue knowledge, and dedicate themselves with determination to achieve great goals. His autobiography, Wings of Fire, has been an inspiration to millions of students across the world, encouraging them to develop values, persistence, and strive for national excellence.

This Olympiad has been launched in memory of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and with the aim of carrying forward his legacy of simplicity, vision, and determination. By cultivating innovative thinking, creativity, and digital skills, the Wings of Fire Olympiad seeks to realize Dr. Kalam’s dream of a strong, self-reliant India, and inspire the youth to contribute to the progress of the nation.

Students from Std. 3 onwards up to Degree/MCA level can participate. The Olympiad is divided into different levels to match the learning stage of students.

The Wings of Fire Olympiad is arranged standard-wise, and each class has two levels:

Level 1 – Foundation round: Focuses on logical reasoning, basic science, general knowledge, and age-appropriate technical awareness.

Level 2 – Advanced round: Focuses on problem-solving, analytical thinking, innovation-based scenarios, and deeper technical knowledge relevant to the student’s learning stage.

The Olympiad covers topics relevant to each level:

Primary (Std. 3–5): Basic Science, Simple Maths, General Knowledge, Curiosity & Creativity

Middle (Std. 6–8): Logical Reasoning, Applied Science, Technology Awareness, Problem Solving

Secondary (Std. 9–10): Aptitude, Emerging Technologies, General Science, IT Awareness
